Love the Reef app for iPhone and iPad

Love the Reef is an educational, game-based app for primary school children. It inspires a love of the Great Barrier Reef and empowers children to enhance their environmental citizenship.

The app and related educational resources can be used by teachers to support in-classroom learning and activities.

• Learn through chat: Information is presented in a chat style. Learn about the reef, its threats and what you can do to help through a series of messages, images and videos from the Head Ranger.

• Collect badges: There are five to collect: turtle, fish, dugong, coral and whale. Learn important facts and test your knowledge through games, quizzes and more.

• Keep your reef healthy: Earn coins to keep your reef healthy. Watch out for threats like climate change, poor water quality and crown-of-thorns starfish.

• Collect facts: Save important facts in the Log Book, so theyre easy to find later.
